PLEMMIRIO: nato nel 2005 con Decreto del Ministro dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare, il Plemmirio è un’Area Marina Protetta collocata nel cuore del Mediterraneo. Circa 15 km di costa di incredibile bellezza a sud di Siracusa lungo la Penisola della Maddalena. Coste alte, grotte emerse e sommerse che si affacciano sull’antica città di Siracusa.

PLEMMIRIO: the Marine Protected Area of Plemmirio was founded in 2005 by a Decree of the Ministry for the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea. It’s located 15 km south of Syracuse on the Peninsula of Maddalena along a coastline of incredible beauty and it's sorrounded by high cliffs, surface and submerged caves overlooking the ancient city of Syracuse.
